Do you have a new business idea?
Somerset Council is looking for the new generation of outstanding start-up's seeking to create new businesses in Somerset. Whatever industry or experience, motivation, idea or expectations you have, Somerset Launch Pad will prepare and guide you through the start-up process.
Ten places are available on this new 'fully-funded programme delivered over ten weeks, from May to September 2023 to fast-track talented, aspiring entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. Whatever your business idea, Somerset Launch Pad can help get you started!
What you will receive
The Somerset Launch Pad programme includes:
- Workshops on core business fundamentals from creating a business plan, to devising a marketing strategy and implementing sustainability goals.
- Masterclasses covering social media, branding, CRM, funding and finances, legal, management and operational systems, intellectual property, networking and more.
- Six hours of individual support with an experienced business coach to create a business plan and marketing plan
- Personal business mentors offering one-to-one support throughout the programme in ten weekly sessions.
- Start-ups to be linked with the right expert to meet their particular challenges.
- Peer-to-peer networking and support as the successful start-ups work together throughout the programme to accomplish their entrepreneurial goals.
Who can apply
Any pre-start and start-up small businesses in the Somerset Council catchment area.
