Somerset Chamber AGM

Yeovil Chamber were represented by several members at the Somerset Chamber AGM which took place on 26th November. 

Over seventy delegates from town chambers across Somerset, heard a 2015 debrief and plans for 2016 from new Somerset Chamber CEO Dale Williams and chair, Graham Knight. Although a large part of Somerset Chamber activities is focused on the Hinkley C Supply Chain, it is vitally important that Yeovil Chamber maintains good relationships with Somerset and our neighbouring town Chambers.  Yeovil Chamber is an affiliate member of Somerset Chamber, and this relationship gives us a presence at the British Chambers of Commerce. 

Yeovil Chamber President David Woan said: “Working with stakeholders such as Somerset Chamber and other town Chambers strengthens and broadens business support delivery to our members.  In addition, networking with other Chambers enables an exchange of ideas and good practice.  At the 8th October B2B Dinner, I was pleased to learn that Somerset Chamber recognise Yeovil Chamber as the most active town Chamber in Somerset.”
