Hospitality Hub launch update

Open to all hospitality businesses in the area, Yeovil Chamber was hosted by Da Vinci restaurant at Yeovil College for the first meeting.

We were pleased to see 12 businesses represented and open to discussions about how to increase footfall for hospitality businesses and to discuss common issues and the support that Yeovil Chamber could offer.

Issues discussed included:

• Transportation links to villages and around Yeovil
• Night time security
• How we can bring service personnel in from Ilchester and Yeovilton
• Support in publicising businesses via Visit South Somerset and tourist information
• Business rates
• Training and staff retention.
