Following recent discussion with several employer members, and this being a very hot topic at our pre-General Election Hustings event in April, our President will meet early in July with John Evans, Principal of Yeovil College to discuss a Chamber-driven partnership linking local Secondary Academies with Yeovil College and Chamber. 

The aim will be to optimise the facilities and courses on offer from Yeovil College; to complement academic qualifications with interpersonal/employment/career skills, and allow our employer members a say on the design of the courses.  This will ensure students deliver their full potential when they arrive at your business seeking apprenticeships/employment.
