The Road to Recovery

The Road to Recovery

Released On 10th Jun 2020

Since lockdown commenced on 24th March, South Somerset District Council has distributed £33.5m to 2,800+ eligible businesses through a variety of grants and other financial support.  This support has been critical, enabling the business sector to continue functioning, albeit on a very limited capacity, throughout lockdown.

With Yeovil, and the South West business sector now looking towards recovery, the Heart of the South West LEP has published a Route Map to Recovery.  Updated quarterly RM2R contains broad regional vision, insight and support, aligned to national recovery plans.
