Trading conditions continue to be demanding, with increasing inflationary pressures, a tight labor market, and high energy and raw material costs.
We would like to hear how your business is faring and how you feel about the future, through our latest Quarterly Economic Survey. It takes just a few minutes to complete and ensures your voice is heard by key decision-makers, including Ministers and the Bank of England.
This survey also includes some additional questions which are specifically about skills. Somerset Chamber of Commerce is currently working with the Department for Education to better understand the skills gaps that are currently faced by employers. The responses will help form a Local Skills Improvement Plan which aims to put the business at the heart of the skills agenda.
