Two female partner promotions announced at Albert Goodman

20th May 2021 – Lyndsay Blackshaw and Michelle Ferris have been promoted from within the business, both of whom joined as graduates and completed their professional training with Albert Goodman. The latest round of promotions brings the South West-based chartered accountants, tax consultants and financial planners total partner headcount to 17 - creating a 48%/52% female/male split across the partnership board.
Michelle Ferris has been with Albert Goodman since 2006 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. She is responsible for the firm’s charity and care teams, specialising in the public sector, not-for-profit and charitable organisations. Michelle is a statutory auditor and provides all round accountancy and audit services as well as advising clients on governance, structures and mergers from the company’s head office in Taunton.
Lyndsay Blackshaw joined Albert Goodman in 2011 part qualified from another accountancy firm, and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant one year later. Having progressed through the ranks over the last decade, Lyndsay has risen to the level of partner by gaining a wealth of experience that comes with managing a large portfolio of clients. Lyndsay primarily works with owner-managed businesses and medical practices, to whom she provides expert accounting, tax and business advice based out of the firm’s Yeovil office.
