Ten Three Cleaning are raising funds for St Margaret's Hospice
Released On 16th Jun 2021
Ten Three Cleaning are embarking on a 20-mile walk from their Head Office in Yeovil to West Bay harbour to fundraise for St Margaret’s Hospice. The walk will take place early morning on July the 3rd and will take the team around 6-7 hours to complete.
This last year it has been very difficult for businesses and charities with the limitations in place as a result of the pandemic, Ten Three Cleaning felt that it was important after such a difficult year for so many to give back.
Ashley Canon Managing Director of Ten Three Cleaning had a bereavement whilst in the pandemic. His relative was receiving end-of-life care throughout the pandemic so it made sense that St Margaret’s Hospice would be the perfect charity for Ten Three Cleaning to support.
Like Ashley, other Ten Three staff have experienced the pain of losing a relative or friend over a long period of time and the kind of support that is needed for both the individual with the life-limiting illness and their families.
Like the NHS they have been working through extremely difficult conditions this last year to make sure those receiving end-of-life care and their families are able to get the support they need despite the difficult circumstances.
Fundraising has been exceedingly difficult with social distancing and restrictions in place and as a result charities like St Margaret’s Hospice’s fundraising has taken a hit.
A mixture of Ten Three Cleaning Operatives and Head Office staff will be completing the walk on the 3rd of July. Ten Three are hoping to raise £500.00 minimum and have achieved around 50% of their current target. All support is welcome. With only 4 weeks to go until the walk, they are hoping to increase those numbers. Donations are being taken via just giving and you can donate as little as £3.00. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tenthreecleaning
Thank you to everyone who has already donated, every penny is appreciated.
