START THE NEW YEAR WITH A TASTER SESSION AT YEOVIL COLLEGE

Released On 24th Dec 2022

Yeovil College is opening its doors once again and is inviting potential students onsite for its first Information Event and taster session of the new calendar year.

On Wednesday 18th January from 4pm-7:30pm, Yeovil College will open its campus for the third Information Event of this academic year. Yeovil College’s expert staff team will be on hand to support future students in taking their next steps on their career journeys.

The Information Event will showcase the College’s UK-leading technology and equipment, demonstrate the 21st century learning experience offered at Yeovil College, and offer opportunities to build relationships between staff and future students, with the added additional of practical hands-on taster sessions across all if its Vocational and T Level subjects. Taster sessions will support future students to make positive choices about their future careers, by reaffirming their subject choices.

Yeovil College offers a varied range of subjects across every curriculum area, and with many links to the local industry and employers, the College can tailor student experience to the relevant business opportunities. Courses offered span across A Levels, T Levels, Vocational qualifications, University-level qualifications, Professional and Technical qualifications.

In the past couple of years, Yeovil College has become an Institute of Technology, only one of 12 in the country; achieved high A Level grades including 99% or 100% pass rate for the seven consecutive years; the commencement of T Levels across all T Level areas has taken place; and the College has won a significant amount of funding to deliver higher digital skills across subjects which are most in demand. Yeovil College has been awarded a £45 million fund to further redesign and redevelop the Yeovil campus.
