Sorry. Delays to some collections

Sorry, staff shortages mean there are delays to some collections today and we expect some disruption to continue throughout the week.

We apologise for the disruption and are working with our contractor to get things back on track as soon as possible.

Recycling collections scheduled for today in the following areas will be delayed. Crews will return tomorrow. Please leave you boxes, bags and bins out for collection:

In and around: Shepton Mallet, Cheddar, Westbury Sub Mendip, Closworth, East Coker and Yeovil.

Missed collections that were due on Tuesday 23 May, will be collected today, Wednesday 24 May. This includes areas in and around:

Refuse: Yeovil

Garden: Radstock, Minehead, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Taunton, Burnham on Sea, Ilminster

Recycling: Burnham on Sea, Taunton, Yeovil, Castle Cary,

There are a small number of properties in and around Wells and Shepton Mallet, where the refuse due to be collected on Tuesday (23 May) will not be returned for today. This is due to a narrow access vehicle breaking down and a replacement vehicle not being available at this time. We apologise for this inconvenience and will rectify the issue as soon as possible.
