Sherborne Residential Care Home Fire Alarm System

A residential care home in Sherborne called with a fire alarm fault that they were unable to rectify.
The existing maintenance company for Garden House Residential Care Home were unable to attend to this fault. So the Manager contacted us at Ocean Fire & Security. We attended to investigate the system fault and repaired it so the Fire Alarm System was fault free.
During the fault visit, it became obvious that the Fire Alarm System was reaching the end of its operational life and advised the customer to consider a new system. A subsequent independent fire risk assessment also recommended a system upgrade.

We designed a compliant fully addressable fire alarm system that protected both buildings which was controlled by one fire panel.
The installation team worked around the staff and residents. Access to the residents' rooms for cable installation was planned in to keep disruption to a minimum. The system was fully installed, commissioned, demonstrated and hand over to the customer within a month.
Ocean continue to provide ongoing routine service inspection visits at quarterly intervals and the system is performing as expected.
