Released On 11th Dec 2017
Helen Lacey, owner and MD of award-winning Somerset based recruitment agency Red Berry Recruitment, has been awarded an Honorary Fellowship to the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). Helen was presented with her fellowship at the IRP Awards - an annual event organised by the REC to recognise the efforts of the members of the Institute of Recruitment Professional (IRP). Three of Helen’s Red Berry Recruitment team were also finalists with Jessie Harmer, Loretta Moore and Sean Greenfield shortlisted for Permanent Consultant of the Year, Temporary Consultant of the Year and Best Newcomer awards respectively. Helen Lacey received one of two Honorary Fellowships that were presented at the IRP awards event on 6th December. The HonFIRP is the highest accolade bestowed upon individual members and is awarded at the discretion of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation’s elected Council. The Honorary Fellowship membership recognises an outstanding professional career, as well as an exceptional personal contribution to the REC, IRP and recruitment industry as a whole. The glamorous ceremony, held at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, brought together the best of the best in the recruitment industry to celebrate the finest performers. It was hosted by writer, broadcaster, actor and former MP Gyles Brandreth. Helen said, “I am so proud to have been awarded the Honorary Fellowship to the IRP, especially as only two people per year receive this and only 24 people in the UK hold one. I am honoured and flattered to receive this recognition after 18 years of working in the industry that I love. Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way”.
