A National Moment of Reflection will take place at 8pm on Sunday 18 September to mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, and to reflect on her life and legacy.
A one-minute silence will take place at 8:00pm on Sunday across the UK, the night before the State Funeral.
Residents of South Somerset are invited to take part in a minute's silence privately at home, with family and friends, out on doorsteps or the street with neighbours.
