Is your company compliant?

If you are an employer who provides company cars to your employees or allows them to use their own vehicles for work purposes, you need to be aware of the health and safety legislation that applies to driving for work.

According to the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, youmust take appropriate steps to manage the risks to your employees and otherswho may be affected by their driving for work.

This includes ensuring your drivers are competent and fit to drive, your drivers are aware of and follow the Highway Code and other road traffic laws, that anyone who drives while working for you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or fatigue, and that they are provided with adequate training, supervision and support.
