The Raising Digital Engagement at KS3 programme is working with 100 schools and 3000 students in years 7 and 8 across Somerset, Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. The aim of the programme is to highlight the benefits of pro-digital qualifications to support future career aims.

Somerset employers working in digital industries are invited to participate in the programme to help bring the computer curriculum to life while inspiring students about the work you do and showcasing the career paths available to young people.

Employer engagement is key to the programme so that students can see the benefits of studying GCSE Computer Science as well as the potential future local career opportunities.
