Grief and Reflection

Grief and Reflection

Released On 13th Sep 2022

Reflection or reflecting can come at any point in our lives, and I always encourage my clients to reflect on what has worked, what hasn't and what elements will be taken forward. But sometimes reflecting is needed when you least expect it.

After the sad news of the Queen passing, I took time out to reflect and pause for a moment.
Everyone deals with grief in different ways but to lose someone who I haven't met but was very present in my life since I was born felt very different, strange, and like I needed to take a pause. She was someone's granny, and all the lovely memories of my grannies brought me such happy memories but also the pain of losing someone who supported you so much.

So, when something comes along and hits you in a way you may have not experienced before, don't panic, don't worry, and don't expect too much of yourself. It is your time to take that pause.

Being king to yourself is so important when grief hits even if it is with someone you have not met. People can always have an impact on you even if you have not personally met them.
