Released On 16th Jan 2024
We are excited to announce that Sycamore Process Engineering has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture and commission a new Milk and Cream Pasteurisation facility for Crediton Dairy.
Crediton Dairy recently committed to a three-year capital investment programme which will see £20m invested in their site in order to upgrade processing facilities, reduce carbon emissions and improve staff facilities.
We will be working closely with Crediton Dairy to deliver this project upgrading their current processing capabilities and helping them become Net Zero by 2050. We hope that this project will allow Crediton Dairy to further grow its brands including the Arctic Coffee range, milks, creams and protein shakes. Working collaboratively with Crediton Dairy will ensure that we achieve the lowest OPEX and provide the best energy efficiencies. Equipment selection will also be carefully considered with the aim of reaching a yearly CO2 emission saving of circa 5 tonnes.
Paul Manning, Business Development and Commercial Director added “It is an exciting opportunity to be working with Crediton Dairy again and provides an opportunity for us to demonstrate our flexibility and agility and seamlessly deliver efficient end-to-end process solutions. It is our aim to provide a solution that will achieve the increased production goals of Crediton Dairy while doing so in a sustainable manner to enable Crediton Dairy to reach their sustainability goals.”
James Ley, Head of Projects for Crediton Dairy commented “We are delighted to be working with Sycamore Process Engineering. The new pasteuriser system is one of the key upgrades required for the growth of Crediton Dairy, and Sycamore have demonstrated they have the capabilities and knowledge to deliver a highly successful project for all parties.”
