Battens Paralegal Becomes Fellow of CILEx
Released On 7th Nov 2017
Battens Solicitors, one of the South West's leading law firms, is delighted to announce that paralegal Charles Aslett has qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). “Charles has been working with us since 2015 and has put a lot of time and effort into obtaining his CILEx qualification,” said Victoria Saunders, consultant at Battens Solicitors. “The icing on the cake is that because he works on residential matters and is already known and respected by agent referrers and clients, he can now manage the legal side of sales, purchases and remortgages more fully which, in turn, enriches the services we can provide for our clients.” For Charles, however, his CILEx is just the beginning. “Residential law is great, particularly when you can deliver the good news to clients that the keys to their new home are ready for collection,” explains Charles, “but I am also very interested in probate, and intend to major in this area for my LPC.” Charles already has a number of probate sales under his belt and is continuing to work for Battens whilst studying part time for his LPC – the postgraduate diploma in legal practice and the final vocational stage of becoming a solicitor.
