BARCLAYS CHARITY QUIZ & CURRY NIGHT- UPDATE
The Charity Curry Quiz was held on Wednesday 25th February at The Viceroy Indian Restaurant in Yeovil in aid of The Yeovil Opportunity Group, who are a registered charity giving respite care for children and adults.
Forty people came to this event, made up of 10 teams, a mixture of local businesses and Yeovil Hospital & The Rotary Club. Together with Barclays (the organisers) we had a successful night and raised £1,050 including the Barclays Match Funding for this worthwhile charity.
The Viceroy discounted the delicious meal we had and a local Quizmaster; Gareth Abbott, who runs his own business; UK Quizmaster offered his services free of charge.
Due to the success of this night and a previous Curry Quiz night we held last year, Barclays are looking to hold these events on a regular basis.
