Albert Goodman boosts Bristol leadership team with new appointment

Leading South West-based accountancy firm Albert Goodman has bolstered its Bristol auditing team with the appointment of Neil Johnston as Audit Partner.
Neil’s appointment marks a significant hire for Albert Goodman’s growing Bristol office, which will see him take on the role of expanding the firm’s audit offering within the city and further enhancing the provision of expert services to businesses and owners across the South West.
Commenting on his appointment, Neil said: “Albert Goodman has earnt its reputation as an accountancy firm that provides an outstanding level of service for its clients across the breadth of the region. In equal measure, the firm’s culture and its teams of incredibly talented people, were a huge draw for me.”
After opening new premises in Bristol and Yeovil, announcing a string of new appointments across the region and reporting 17% revenue growth, it’s been a substantial 12 months for the Taunton-headquartered chartered accountants, tax consultants and financial planners.
Neil continues: “Having been lucky enough to call Bristol my home for well over a decade now, I’m relishing the opportunity to bring my knowledge of the local market to the table, and helping to drive growth within my specialist area of the business.”
Bristol University alumni, Neil has lived in the city for more than 15 years. He joins Albert Goodman from RSM and prior to that, Neil spent over seven years at EY. Over the course of his career, Neil has developed extensive audit, accountancy, and business advisory skills, working with a range of companies and organisations.
