Albert Goodman Appoints Two New Directors

Albert Goodman is delighted to announce Michelle Ferris and Joseph Doggrell as Directors, effective immediately, along with the qualification of seven trainees as Chartered Accountants.Having started her career with Albert Goodman in 2006, Michelle has been promoted to Director of Charities and Not for Profit. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has extensive experience in working with the firm’s public sector, not-for-profit and charity audits, and providing industry advice to all sizes of charity. Within her new role, Michelle will be responsible for leading the firm’s not-for-profit team and will be on hand to provide clients with support and ongoing advice. Commenting on her new role, Michelle says, “I am delighted to have been promoted to Director of Charities and Not for Profit. With more than ten years working at Albert Goodman with its charity clients, I have built up great relationships within the sector and I am looking forward to providing specialist advice to not for profit organisations across the West Country. Promoted to Director of Academies and Education, Joseph Doggrell is part of Albert Goodman’s Corporate Services Team. Joseph takes the lead for many of Albert Goodman’s academy school clients. Having joined the firm in 2009, Joseph qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and has developed extensive audit, accountancy and business advisory skills, working with a diverse range of companies. He is also on the board of The Redstart Learning Partnership, a multi-academy trust in Somerset. He comments, “It is a real honour for me to be promoted to Director of Academies and Education.
