Albert Goodman announces new Head of Corporate Finance

Released On 8th Sep 2017

Albert Goodman has announced a new Head to its Corporate Finance team, Neil Hutchings, to further enhance the firm’s position as one of the South West’s most active deal makers. Neil Hutchings will work alongside a Corporate Finance team of six Partners and Directors that offer a broad range of Corporate Finance expertise drawn from accountancy practice, banking and industry. Combined, the team has a wealth of experience in advising on acquisitions, disposals, exit planning, mergers, management buy outs, due diligence, fund raising and tax efficient structuring. Before joining Albert Goodman in 2008, Neil worked for a big four firm in Bristol within their Assurance and Advisory department. Neil has extensive experience in transactions, valuations, and financing, including financing from new sources such as challenger banks and crowd funding. Commenting on his appointment, Neil says, “I’m delighted to head up the Corporate Finance team at Albert Goodman and am privileged to be supported by a team of talented, experienced and knowledgeable individuals that have successfully completed many deals, some of which are national names. As members of The Corporate Finance Network and Praxity Worldwide, this gives us both national and international coverage and allows us to offer a personal service that is a cost effective and attractive alternative to the national agencies. “The South West provides a thriving SME marketplace for Corporate Finance opportunities and whilst the market remains buoyant, there is still some uncertainty for local businesses. Our team will continue to work in partnership with these businesses, their solicitors, banks, and other advisors to ensure deals are completed successfully and create value through acquisitions, disposals, mergers and restructuring. We are eager to spread the word amongst SME owners that Corporate Finance is not just for large blue chip and hi-tech companies, they too can tap into the benefits Corporate Finance support can provide to enhance the value of their business.”
