A Practise Interview session for Year 13 students – Tuesday 19th October 2023 - AM or PM – or both!

This brand new initiative is to help our students who are currently making choices about their future career paths. It is designed so they meet someone they have never seen before and practise an interview as though they were applying for a job. We would like them to have the opportunity to experience and engage with the workplace to help them gain an insight and explore the different opportunities available to them. This activity will be on a one to one basis on the school.

We are very keen to include both national and local organisations from a wide range of sectors and we would love to invite you to attend this Networking Event as an interested company.

Students will have prepared and researched questions about your sector and what your company does, the different roles and opportunities that are available or routes into their preferred industry. We would then ask you to give some very brief feedback to us about the students you talk to in order to help them develop their interpersonal skills.

We are going to run a morning session and an afternoon session. It would be fantastic if any members could attend both session but just one session would be appreciated, and we can offer you lunch! Branding is welcome if you wish to bring it with you on the day. We see this as a wonderful opportunity to network within the local community and hope it will be an interesting and worthwhile experience for you as well as an opportunity to see the calibre of the students that are coming through the school in the final stages of their studies.

This is a new event after the Covid19 disruption, and you would be welcome to bring along more than one person if you wish or share the opportunity to other people that you know and might be interested.
